Parmenion Fund Research (PFR) is our in house discretionary fund manager.

PFR provides asset selection and portfolio construction within Parmenion's range of investment solutions. The management team comprises senior and experienced City professionals; their profiles can be viewed online.

PFR actively manage a number of the leading investment solutions available through Parmenion's services and supply additional expertise in the oversight of other managed investment solutions. PFR acts as the primary adviser to Parmenion's governing Investment  Oversight Committee.

PFR has a particular specialisation in collective fund analysis both quantitative and qualitative. The former selects those funds that have shown consistent risk adjusted returns versus their peer group, and also examines their management of downside risk.  Great emphasis is placed on meeting fund managers face to face, critically examining their investment philosophy and understanding the culture and ethos of the organisation in which they work.  The investment process dynamically maintains a "best of breed" fund selection for each of the portfolios.
