He has over 25 years experience in the fund manager industry. He started his career at County Nat West, following stints at James Capel and Commercial Union in the 1980’s.

He moved to Lincoln Investment Management where his duties included the management of life, pension funds and unit trusts. More recently Simon was head of the mid cap equity team at Equitable Life managing £1.5bn. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Bradford and studied Economic Geography in London; with a brief spell at George Washington University in the US. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.

 

Likes: Wine and food with friends, watching rugby union and my allotment

Dislikes: Management jargon and red braces!

Watching: The Sopranos (modern Shakespeare) and the West Wing
